Spinwell is recruiting for a Systems Support Analyst for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SYSTEMS SUPPORT ANALYST

The role of the EBS Systems Support Analyst is to work with other members of the team and wider Directorate to provide a quality, customer focussed business Systems Support service to the Capital, Estates and Facilities Management Directorate.

To configure business systems in line with functional and informational requirements and customer satisfaction. This may require the post-holder to work closely with end users to implement system usage and data quality monitoring mechanisms.

Responsible for the day to day management of Estates Business Services projects. Working closely with the Estates Business Services (EBS) Management team and the wider Capital, Estates and Facilities Management Directorate to ensure EBS projects are delivered effectively.

After development the applicant is expected to progress into providing a Business Analyst support service, identifying business needs, processes and risks and developing these into IT specific business system requirement specifications and then implementing this into the business environment.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE SYSTEMS SUPPORT ANALYST

• Educated to Degree level or equivalent relevant experience
• A level, Maths, English and Physics grade B or above
• Querying Microsoft SQL server or equivalent
• The post-holder will demonstrate of business system implementation experience and business systems management and support experience
• IT Project Management Experience, delivering multiple complex projects to specification, quality, cost and time
• Experience of configuring, supporting, securing and managing Microsoft SQL systems
• Hands on technical capability in performing data manipulation, data cleansing, querying and analysis
• Experienced working with end users to deliver products and achieve deadlines
• Must demonstrate resource management (people, time and cost), risk management and change management experience
• Experience of managing 3rd party suppliers, technology partners, management and end users
• SQL Server2008 and above and database management experience
