We are looking for a part time Talent Acquisition & Resourcing Assistant for a leading Bristol law firm. The role will be working 16 hours a week between the hours of 9am to 5pm (lots of flexibility about the working pattern).
The role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and professional HR team who have recently launched a new HR vision and HR system/ATS so this is a great time to join. Working alongside the Talent Acquisition Manager and Advisor you will be responsible for proactively recruiting for a variety of legal and support roles at all levels of seniority.
You will develop and maintain effective working relationships across the firm to ensure all aspects of resourcing are delivered effectively.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out day to day tasks related to the recruitment process, using the Applicant Tracking System including placing adverts, liaising with agencies and managers, arranging interviews, making verbal offers, updating the system and requesting and giving feedback.
- Answering queries in the shared in box in relation to recruitment policies and practices, escalating as required
- Providing advice and guidance to managers on the recruitment process and in-house recruitment system
- Contributing to wider people and culture projects to achieve the people vision of becoming the most people centred employer in the legal industry.
- Suggesting changes or improvements in ways of working to help the service offered to the business or to make the Talent Acquisition Team work more efficiently.
The person
- Previous experience in HR and / or recruitment is desirable.
- Must be resourceful and proactive.
- IT literate (including Microsoft products)
- Strong organisational skills
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skulls
- Able to work to deadlines.
