Job description

Your Company:
A financial services business has engaged NET Recruit to assist on their search for a Talent Acquisition Director to join the team in the Bournemouth area. The business is experiencing a large growth period which is set to continue over the coming years and therefore they are looking to revolutionise and transform their recruitment function to be more efficient and effective, whilst still acquiring the best professionals in the market.
Providing strategic and hands-on recruitment support across the business, this role will be paramount to the success of the expansion plans for the business. The role will ideally suit an individual who has already attained excellent experience managing a recruitment function, with plenty of hands-on recruitment experience, who is now seeking to oversee the entire function, whilst providing insightful support on strategy and commercial decision making.
Your Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Managing and overseeing the full recruitment process within the business, ensuring that jobs and adverts are posted for all roles.
  • Ensuring that recruiters are proactively working on assigned roles, that candidates are being spoken to and that interviews are being arranged.
  • Ensuring hiring managers are sent pre-screened, top-quality talent within the deadlines set for the roles.
  • Developing strong and successful recruitment strategies, based on years of experience, with the aim of streamlining processes, saving costs where possible and optimising efficiency across the function.
  • Working alongside hiring and recruitment managers to evaluate recruitment processes and actively find solutions for improvement on key areas to ensure the team are working as efficiently as possible and adhering to best practices.
  • Acting as a partner to the leadership team and hiring managers, to consult on strategic matters surrounding recruitment and onboarding.
  • Spearheading projects to push recruitment activity to its fullest potential.
  • Managing any third-party involvement, i.e. agencies, job board account managers, recruitment fayre organisers and any other stakeholders, negotiating fees where possible to drive best value for business activities.
What you will need to Apply:
The ideal candidate for this role will have worked in a start-to finish in-house recruitment management position for a number of years, whereupon they have not only handled recruitment directly, but also managed a team of recruitment professionals. Additionally, applicants should have experience in working on recruitment strategies, policies and procedures, as well as managing agencies. Experience is sought from both in-house and agency background, with exposure to the financial industry preferable. Excellent communication skills are a must within this position, alongside strong negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.

What you will get in Return:
For the successful candidate a starting salary in the region of £75,000, dependent on previous recruitment leadership experience, is on offer. You will also be entitled to a strong benefits package with a plethora of tangible and intangible rewards and incentives that can be redeemed, including a competitive holiday and pension contribution, private medical cover and life insurance and some additional employee perks.
This will be a rewarding role, allowing you to work with and advise key business leaders, whilst also developing comprehensive recruitment strategies and procedures. You’ll be fully supported by senior leadership to flourish in this role and will be aptly rewarded for meeting personal and business objectives. Within this role, you’ll gain fantastic exposure within one of the fastest growing markets in the country.
