Salary: £72K per annum (Dependent on skills & qualifications)

We are looking for a Talent and Development Manager to ensure the provision of a talent pipeline, learning frameworks, core skills and Development across SGN as we look to an exciting future. You will enable and champion an environment and culture where individuals can access the learning they need, when they need it, allowing our staff to perform safely, competently and at their very best.

What will you be doing day to day?

  • Develop a suite of tools, learning materials and programs to enhance and develop internal colleague capability with a focus on safety and zero harm
  • Provide learning opportunities and resources to ensure all managers across SGN have to tools, skills and confidence to be brilliant people managers
  • Own and execute the Talent Review process to deliver a strong internal pipeline aligned with business strategic needs
  • Identify, deliver and improve a provision that supports all leadership and talent programs from mentoring & coaching to 360 feedback
  • Champion a culture of continuous feedback that promotes development, transparency and career progression across SGN
  • Champion the continual enhancement of skills and capability within the Capability directorate and to role model professional development across the business

What you’ll need

  • Proven experience with project management and organisational skills
  • You have a broad understanding of learning styles and experience delivering training face to face
  • You have been involved in developing content, resources and sessions, with a focus on behavioural and leadership programmes for a modern learning environment
  • Prior experience delivering mentoring, coaching and 360 feedback programmes
  • You possess a relevant L&D qualification or substantial in-role experience
  • Confident with the full Microsoft Office suite
  • Prior experience using an LMS
  • You have a think outside the box mentality, bringing fresh and modern ideas for learning & development
  • Experience as a line manager and coaching a team directly is a plus
