Altum Consulting are currently partnering with a dynamic, global tech business in their search for a Tax Accountant to take a lead on all corporate and direct taxes for the EMEA region of the business. You will be working closely with the International Tax Manager within the US-based multinational corporation, focusing on direct tax compliance, planning, and project management with a primary emphasis on European operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensuring timely and effective submission of tax returns and mandatory reports across the EMEA region, managing relationships with external tax advisors.
• Collaborating with accounting colleagues and external providers to prepare quarterly/year-end foreign income tax provisions and reconcile tax accounts.
• Supporting the Legal Entity Reporting function in tax accounting for statutory financial statements.
• Assisting in tax audit queries and responses.

The successful candidate will be/have:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or Chartered tax advisor.
• International tax experience with a public accounting firm, law firm, and/or in a multinational corporation.
• A bachelor's degree is desirable but not essential.
