Tax Accountant

Bookkeeper/Accountant/Tax Professional
The firm provides accounts and tax compliance, and consultancy services for a client base of small to medium sized businesses and high net worth individuals. They provide bookkeeping and payroll services alongside bespoke accounts and tax advice.
The day-to-day responsibilities could include:* General administration duties* Bookkeeping duties* Accounts preparation* Payroll work* Compiling tax returns and accompanying trading or rental accounts* Preparing VAT returns* Companies House compliance
We seek a self-motivated and organised candidate who has relevant experience in practice looking at some or all of the areas we work in.
Experience of working with one or more of the following accountancy software packages would be useful: FreeAgent/Xero/Quickbooks/Sage
Experience of working with payroll software an advantage
Microsoft office experience required, especially excel and word
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently while utilising the support provided by the wider team
The role is office-based - full or part-time positions are available.
