SalaryOne of the UK's top Law firms with a global presence is seeking to hire a Senior Tax Assistant to work in their Sheffield, Leeds or Manchester office (if based in Leeds/Manchester you will be required to travel to the Sheffield office once a week). You will be responsible for the Asia Pacific region and providing support to the International Tax Manager and the Global Mobility Tax Manager. The firm also provides study sponsorship should you wish to pursue any additional qualifications e.g. ATT.
Tax Assistant Duties:
- Maintain Global Mobility tax compliance records
- Assist with year-end procedures and international tax projects
- Review expected tax charges
- Prepare tax calculations for Asia Pacific members
- Review budgeted tax flows and provide analysis
Tax Assistant Experience:
- 1-2 years' experience working in a similar role within a Legal or Professional Services firm
- Applicants must be working towards an appropriate professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CTA, ADIT)
- Prior experience with international tax is useful, but not essential
- Strong communication, interpersonal and multi-tasking skills combined with a flexible and proactive attitude
