You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax computations, returns, and related documents for individuals, partnerships, and limited companies. You will provide expert advice on income tax, corporation tax, capital gains tax, and VAT. Staying up-to-date with tax regulations is essential, as you will conduct thorough research to ensure compliance. Assisting clients in tax planning, addressing client queries, and building strong relationships.

Description

  • Prepare and review tax computations, P11d / returns, and other related documentation for individuals, partnerships, and limited companies.
  • Provide expert advice on various tax matters, including income tax, corporation tax, capital gains tax, and VAT.
  • Conduct thorough research on tax legislation and stay updated with changes in tax regulations.
  • Assist clients in tax planning and strategising to optimise their tax positions.
  • Handle client queries and provide prompt and accurate responses, building strong client relationships.
  • Collaborate with other team members to deliver high-quality service and exceed client expectations.
  • Assist in the training and development of junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.

Profile

  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ATT/ACA/ACCA).
  • Strong knowledge of UK tax regulations and relevant legislation.
  • Previous experience in a similar tax role within an accounting firm or professional services environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to confidently interact with clients and team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in tax software and MS Office applications.
