Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a prestigious multinational bank's EMEA tax department, responsible for Corporate Tax, Indirect Tax, Business Unit Tax Advisory, US Tax Reporting and Global Tax Risk. The successful candidate will have the chance to manage corporate income tax compliance and reporting within the UK and Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). This role offers a competitive salary of up to £38.53 per hour (plus holiday pay) and is based in London.

What you'll do:
As a Tax Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing corporate income tax compliance and reporting within the UK and EMEA region. You will be responsible for preparing and submitting UK corporate income tax returns, overseeing non-UK submissions, calculating tax payments, managing audits, driving innovation, working collaboratively on projects, and developing staff. Your ability to work in a swiftly changing environment will be key to your success in this role.
- Manage corporate income tax compliance and reporting within UK and EMEA
- Prepare and submit UK corporate income tax returns
- Oversee and manage non-UK corporate income tax return submissions
- Calculate and instruct tax payments
- Manage tax authority audits, calculate and review quarterly effective tax rates for US GAAP and IFRS reporting
- Drive innovation and process efficiency improvements
- Work collaboratively across wider tax, finance and other teams on various projects
- Manage and develop staff, offering technical and non-technical training and support
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Tax Manager position will bring a wealth of accountancy experience from either practice or industry. She will hold a relevant professional accountancy qualification such as ACCA/CIMA/CA. Her excellent interpersonal communication skills will enable her to work effectively with virtual teams across varying regions. She will demonstrate strong organisational skills, proficiency in MS Office applications, and an aptitude for working in a swiftly changing environment.
- Relevant professional accountancy qualification (including ACCA/CIMA/CA)
- 3 years+ accountancy experience in Practice or Industry
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Willingness to work with virtual teams across varying regions towards common goals
- Aptitude for working in a swiftly changing environment
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
