Tax Manager

A highly successful and growing accountancy practice based in Cardiff is looking for a Tax Supervisor, the individual will be tasked with managing the provision of both corporate and personal tax compliance services, in addition to advisory services for a wide range of clients. The role involves:

• Overseeing corporation tax computations and returns.
• Supervising personal tax computations and returns.
• Checking trust returns.
• Interacting with HMRC regarding tax enquiries.
• Undertaking technical research and offering advice based on findings.
• Crafting complex tax returns and computations.
• Engaging with partners and proactively discussing tax opportunities pertinent to clients’ business and/or personal matters.
• Guiding trainees in their professional growth.
• Collaborating with members of the tax team and participating in office-wide training and development initiatives.
• Spotting opportunities for cross-selling.
• Effectively managing communication with clients.
• Actively monitoring chargeability and assignment budgets.
• Training other staff to enhance performance and technical development.
• Cultivating specialist sector knowledge and staying updated with industry developments.
