The Opportunity
An amazing opportunity to join an established tax team focusing on medical professionals. The role is for a tax senior to review tax returns and have day to day contact with our clients.
As a Senior at Azets, you will have the ability and motivation needed to:
- Take ownership of your own portfolio with support from your manager
- Support in delivering revenue and profitability targets
- Develop enduring client relationships
Day to day duties
- Responsible for a number of client relationships supporting them on a variety of compliance matters
- Principal point of contact for clients, working closely with them to understand developments in their personal tax affairs, ensuring they are up to date with their compliance obligations.
- Manage a variety of compliance matters on behalf of your clients
- Review tax returns and computations ready to send to the clients
- Ensure the efficient and risk managed delivery
- Ensuring the efficient and accurate delivery of personal tax returns, together with advice on tax payments etc, to a portfolio of medical professionals. This will include day to day contact with the client and answering their ad hoc queries.
- Assisting with the coaching and development of the wider team
What are we looking for?
- Minimum ATT qualified or equivalent experience in practice.
- Previous Personal/Private Client Tax experience in a similar role within a practice environment and ideally an awareness of clients in the medical sector (full training on the sector would be given).
- Experience of pension schemes and superannuation preferred
