The Role as Tax Semi-Senior in the Corporate Tax Department:

• Preparation of CT600 Corporate Tax returns & CT61 returns for a diverse range of Limited Companies, alongside personal tax returns for Directors.
• Timely advice on CT liabilities, proficiency in group aspects of corporation tax, management of essential claims and elections, including optimizing relief for losses.
• Handling a manageable portfolio of clients with managerial support.
• Assisting with advisory tasks, including ad hoc research for larger projects.

The Ideal Candidate:

• ATT qualified.
• 1-2 years' Corporate Tax advisory experience with a solid technical foundation.
• Knowledge of cross-border aspects of company taxation, including double tax relief, would be advantageous.
• Previous familiarity with sector-specific issues is a plus.
• Familiarity with accounting systems and control environments within a finance function.
• Previous experience with CCH or equivalent systems is advantageous.
• Proficient Excel skills, including vlookup, sumif, and Pivot Tables.
• The role involves travel to client sites, so access to your own transport is necessary.
