About The Role
- Prepare, review, and file accurate and timely tax returns, including income tax, VAT, and other relevant taxes for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
- Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients
- Conduct research and stay updated about changes in tax laws, rules, and regulations in the United Kingdom.
- Review financial statements and analyse financial data to identify tax-saving opportunities
- Assist with tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities
- Manage relationships with external tax consultants, auditors, and legal counsel when needed for specialised tax matters or during audits
- Manage a team of 4 staff
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
- ACA or ACCA (part or fully) qualified
- 2+ years of experience in accounting and financial reporting, preferably in UK Public Practice
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills, adept at engaging with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
