SalaryOur client is adynamic, vibrant and growing small/mid-tier Accountancy Practice based in theLisburn area. Due to ongoing expansion, a superb opportunity has arisen for anexperienced Tax Senior to join the Firm. This is an initial 6–12-month maternitycontract and as such is a unique opportunity for an experienced Taxprofessional looking for a new experience and immediate employment whilst planningtheir next career move.
THE ROLE
- The role will be a mixture of personal (80%) and corporate tax work (20%).
- Reporting to the Partners, the successful candidate will take responsibility for assisting in the planning and delivery of a range of tax assignments
- Advising junior staff and review their work on an ongoing basis
- Liaising/advising clients on an ongoing, regular basis
- Providing input/opinion into monthly Practice meetings to ensure that all goals and targets are achieved
- Helping to grow the Tax Department through long term business development strategies
THE PERSON
- Qualified Tax Senior with a minimum of 1-2 years PQE gained within Practice to include a wide range of tax assignment experience
- Able to supervise and advise staff on various day to day assignments
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly IT literate
- Ambitious, career focused with the drive and determination to move to a higher level within the Practice
- Excellent planning and time management skills with the confidence and ability to work on assignments without the need for supervision
SALARY
An attractivesalary + benefits up to £40k based on experience will be on offer to thesuccessful candidate.
