Job description
29.6 hours per week; fixed term maternity cover for up to 12 months
You will work within the Animal Care team, which is part of the Directorate of Health, Education & Service Industries. You will be responsible for the planning, delivery and assessment of learners engaged in Animal Care programmes.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working with a range of animals; hold a minimum of a Level 4 Animal Care related qualification and have previous experience delivering on Level 2 and Level 3 Animal Care programmes. Experience in delivering, Animal Behaviour and Handling, Animal Health and Welfare and the principles of Animal Biology is essential.
A full time teaching role has 828 delivery hours (pro rata for part-time hours).
