Teacher Education Partnership Administrator

£26,060 - £27,363 per annum (pro rata)

Part time/Permanent - 26 hours per week

About the Role

We are seeking to appoint a Partnership Administrator to join our Teacher Education Partnership Office within the Nottingham Institute of Education.

The Institute offers a diverse range of Teacher Education provision that includes both undergraduate and postgraduate courses, and operates in partnership with hundreds of early years settings, schools, colleges and other educational institutions across the East Midlands and beyond. The quality and success of our provision depends upon our highly professional and experienced Partnership Team, who are responsible for the communications and procedures that are particular to the world of Teacher Education Partnerships

To succeed in this role, experience of administering Initial Teacher Education courses would be helpful, but is not essential. The post involves working with a variety of external partners and many different academic, administrative, and student colleagues in sourcing, setting up and managing excellent placement experiences for our trainees and operating our partnership arrangements. Excellent communication skills and a customer service ethos are therefore essential.

Applicants should have proven experience of working in a busy and complex administrative environment. Highly developed organisational and administrative skills are essential to the role. Successful candidates will pay attention to detail, be able to prioritise and deliver agreed objectives, and operate as valuable members of a flexible and agile team. The role requires excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook and Excel, and experience of using this software within a busy office environment.

For more details, please take a look at the role profile. We will consider applications even if you don't meet every single one of the requirements, so don't be put off if you don't match them perfectly.

Interview date: 19th March 2024
