Harrogate College are recruiting for a Part time Joinery Teacher to join our team. This role will be based in our Tech Centre using industry standard equipment. You will be teaching students up to and including level 2.
We are looking for a candidate who is committed, organised and passionate about joinery and passing on their knowledge to others. You may already have experience in a teaching role, or have industry experience and are looking to make the career move into teaching.

What You Will Do
- You will join the team in teaching the joinery curriculum at the college ensuring that all learners are fully supported to achieve their potential and progress onto further study or employment.
- The role involves all aspects of teaching, such as preparation of resources, delivery, marking and assessing.
- We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate the necessary enthusiasm and skill to communicate at all levels.
- Knowledge and experience in joinery is essential - we are happy to consider applicants that wish to move into teaching.
- A commitment to work hard with a keen sense of organisation are important skills as is the ability to have fun and enjoy working alongside the fantastic staff and students we have at Harrogate College!
