We are seeking to appoint a talented Teacher of Design Engineering with a flair and a vision for developing the young people in their care. The successful candidate will help create an exciting and adventurous curriculum that will enthuse our pupils to be creative and address the engineering challenges that threaten our world today. The role might suit a recently qualified teacher or a technology or engineering graduate wishing to enter the profession, as there is the capacity to devote a significant amount of time to training and induction. The successful applicant will join a team of three specialist teachers, who work in a modern, well-resourced department with the assistance of a technician. The person appointed will be required to teach pupils from Year 9 through to Sixth Form. Interest amongst the pupils is high and there is considerable scope for someone with imagination and drive to help further develop the department and its co-curricular offering.
