Uppingham School is currently seeking to appoint a first-rate Teacher of English from September 2024.
You will teach English to our motivated and talented students at all levels across the school. Beyond classroom teaching, teachers at Uppingham play a full part in the life of this seven-day week boarding school, taking on additional responsibilities and serving as tutors within our fifteen boarding houses.
The person appointed will be a strong, dynamic character with excellent subject knowledge, a good degree and good classroom management skills. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of excellent teaching and building positive relationships with students. The abilities to communicate well and work as part of a team are essential.
