This school are a large, mixed, 11-18 academy with over 350 students in their sixth form. Due to their increased popularity as a school, they expanded their roll in 2018. This School is an inclusive school with a student in take that reflects a wonderfully diverse and vibrant local community. Their students are very well behaved, work hard and are ambitious to succeed. Their most recent Ofsted inspection in July 2021 graded the school as Good.
They are seeking to appoint an outstanding Teacher of English. Purpose of role:
- To implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students and to support a designated curriculum area as appropriate
- To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher/ Form Tutor
- To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential
- To contribute to raising standards of student attainment
- To share and support the school's responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth
