Required April 2024
Westborough High School is a caring, vibrant and happy learning community. We value all our staff and work together to make a difference to children’s lives.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an inspirational Teacher of Maths to join our school.
Westborough has a strong and stable staffing platform and can develop staff whatever their career stage. Applications are welcomed from newly qualified teachers, as well as those with more experience.
You will be joining a successful and well-established maths team and are warmly welcomed to visit with one of our senior leaders or headteacher.
Following the Section 8 Ofsted inspection in June 2022, Westborough continues to be a good school and ‘leaders are ambitious’ for the pupils. There is a real team approach at Westborough, where everyone, no matter what their role in school is, wants the ‘best’ for pupils. Ofsted were very complimentary about the culture of the school, describing it as, ‘welcoming and inclusive.’
Applications are welcomed from candidates who:
- Consistently deliver highly effective lessons in your subject area
- Have experience of developing effective teaching resources and strategies
- Have the skills and energy to inspire, lead and motivate others
As a valued member of our team we can offer:
- Clear and shared values and expectations
- A commitment to tailored professional development
- A stimulating work environment
- An experienced, highly committed and support leadership team
If you want to work with us on our journey to excellence, then we would like to hear from you.
The closing date for applications to be returned is 9.00 a.m. on Monday 22 January 2024 (interviews likely to be Friday 26 January 2024)
(Based on the quality and quantity of applications received, Westborough High School reserves the right to interview sooner than the specified dates above. Applicants will be notified of this where possible. Therefore, early applications are encouraged.)
Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Therefore, we expect all workers, volunteers, and employees to share this commitment.
