We are seeking to appoint a highly skilled, inspiring and forward-thinking colleague (instrument or voice) to join our music team. We are looking for an inspiring teacher who can bring music to life and help us create a nurturing environment within which everyone can reach their full potential. Passionate about music education, you will be an inspiration to our young musicians.
Our Music Department boasts excellent results and has huge student involvement; with over 120 students regularly taking part in our concerts and events. Our extra-curricular groups include Concert Band, Girls’ Choir, Boys’ Vocal Group, Senior Girls’ Choir, 6th Form Jazz Band, Close Harmony, and String Group, with several other groups and events regularly led by our A level Music Group. The successful candidate will be committed to leading high quality extra-curricular groups and public performances and possess the ability to inspire and enhance our students’ understanding and enjoyment of the subject.
Interested candidates should evidence in their application grades achieved in relevant examination boards (for example ABRSM, Trinity, Rock School). They should also identify whether they studied instrument, voice or composition at University.
