Job DescriptionWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Science for a secondary school in Sefton. This is a permanent position, the successful applicant will be expected to deliver engaging and innovative lessons, inspire students, and play a key role in the development of the school's science department.
Responsibilities
Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality science lessons for secondary school students.
Assess and record student progress and provide feedback to enhance student performance and progress.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop new strategies for teaching and learning.
Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher meetings, and school training events.
Qualifications
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A degree in science, either biology, physics or chemistry.
Experience teaching Science at a secondary school level.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all pupils.
