Teacher Of Science - South Dartmoor Community College (Westcountry Schools Trust)

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Trust at South Dartmoor Community College.  We are seeking to appoint a highly organised, enthusiastic and inspirational teacher to a full time, fixed term contract.    They must be able to deliver the curriculum to a high level, across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, working closely with the Science team.   The successful candidate will be a hard-working individual; a teacher with high expectations and an unwavering determination to get the best outcomes for students.

The College this year, secured some of the best results in the South West for student progress. It has a strong staff team in place to ensure every child is enabled to fulfil their potential including specialist teachers at all levels. We have an excellent academic record and our pastoral support is second to none.  Our students report that they feel very happy and safe at the school. Community engagement is also an important feature; we have an active Parent/Teacher Association (FOSDA—Friends of South Dartmoor Academy).
