In the heart of Hackney an 'Outstanding' Secondary School are on the hunt for a Teacher of Social Sciences for a September 2024 start. This is a permanent, and full-time contract.

The Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious Teacher of Social Sciences who is keen to add value to an expanding Social Sciences department. The school is renowned for their supportive SLT, and impressive Progress 8 results across all subjects.

The school are well invested into the Education sector setting new teaching practices, as well as training their own and new staff. It's an exciting time at the school!

Experienced Teacher of Social Sciences can take on a TLR such as KS3 Coordinator, Pastoral Responsibility, 2iC, HOD and more. Early Career Teacher of Social Sciences (ECT) will be enrolled onto the schools very own bespoke ECT induction, as well as work alongside a range of young & experienced Teacher of Social Sciences.

• MPS1-UPS3 - £36,745 - £56,959 + TLR (Size depending on experience)
• Located in the Borough of Hackney

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
• Strong academics across the board - Degree, A Levels and GCSEs
• Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level
• You must be able to work as part of a large team of Teacher of Social Sciences
• Must be willing to listen to feedback
