In this role you will be part of a team which is responsible for the planning, delivery and assessment of learners engaged in Computer Science based programmes from Level 1 – 3. You may also be required to carry out the role of personal tutor for a specified group of learners.
You will have experience of delivering a range of hardware or software topics and associated units / programmes of study. The ideal candidate will have broad skills and experience. The department currently offers BTEC Level 1, 2 and 3, A level and Access to HE Computing provision, Apprenticeships and T-Levels expected from September 2024.
You will have a relevant teaching / training qualification and experience of the post 16 sector. However, we welcome applications from those not yet qualified who wish to train whilst working.
You will be a highly self-motivated, energetic and driven individual, encompassing a strong sense of autonomy. You will possess strong presentation and communication skills and be able to demonstrate achievement of targets.
This post carries up to 828 delivery hours per annum (for full time hours).
