TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream primary school in Alvaston. The school provides a high standard of education and has recently been awarded an ‘good’ OFSTED rating. This largely populated school boasts fantastic sports facilities and offers opportunities both inside and outside of lessons to promote students’ engagement, to help them flourish personally and academically.

The school is looking to take on a driven Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis, leading to a permanent position for the right candidate. The successful applicant will be working across both Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2. You must hold a NVQ level 2 or NVQ level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification to apply for this role.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working in a primary school. Voluntary or paid
• Knowledge and understanding of the Key stage 1 / KS1, Key stage 2 / KS2 curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management
