SalaryAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a thriving secondary school in Amersham.
As a Teaching Assistant, the successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Supporting teachers in the classroom with general and administrative tasks
- Providing additional support to small groups and individual students to enhance their learning and development
- Working with students who require special accommodations to ensure their success
- Attending meetings and participating in professional development opportunities to stay informed and improve skills
- Collaborating with teachers and staff members to help create a positive learning environment for all students
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a secondary school and a passion for education. They will be able to work well in a team environment and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This full-time position pays between £85-£95 per day, depending on experience.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
- CACHE Level 2 certification or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A team player with a positive attitude
- A passion for education and a commitment to making a difference in students' lives
