Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for new opportunities in Solihull?
Winner Education are seeking Teaching Assistant’s to work in primary schools based in the Solihull area. We are looking for candidates who are open to working day to day, short term and long-term placements. The successful applicant must have previous experience in providing general classroom support as well as 1:1 or small group interventions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs
- Provide general classroom support to the class teacher
- Assist the main class teacher in lesson preparation and classroom set up
- Tailor learning materials to the requirement of individual learners
- Assist with pupil progress reports
- Liaise with outside agencies when required
- Support the class teacher with pupil assessments
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
- A minimum of Level 2/3 qualification in teaching assisting
- Previous SEN experience of supporting children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and challenging behaviours
- Previous experience working in primary and secondary schools
- Strong resilience and patience
