Always Flourishing are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and experienced childcare professional in support of an "outstanding" Special Needs School in West Reading.
What you need to know:
- The role is of PMLD Teaching Assistant/Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant.
- It is offered as a temporary agency assignment, although a permanent position would be considered for the right person.
- Payments are made weekly based on a daily rate of £80 - £95 per day.
- We would ideally like someone to start immediately, although this is not mandatory.
This school specialises in supporting the whole spectrum of children with special needs, ranging from those with Moderate Learning Difficulties to Severe and Profound Learning Difficulties, Complex Needs, Autism, Down Syndrome, and physical disabilities.
Within this environment you will supporting the independence of all children in helping them to achieve in their own way. Although challenging, every day is rewarding as you will be making a different to these young people’s lives.
The successful person will:
- Have experience working with children from a similar background with similar needs.
- Be able to build rapport and speak to anyone.
- Need patience and resilience to overcome the daily challenges of this role.
- A minimum of GCSE level education.
