The governing board are seeking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our happy, welcoming Church school where all are encouraged to let their light shine by ‘Living and learning together in the light of God.’
Initially, this post will be to directly support learning in a 1:1 capacity under the guidance and support of the class teacher/ SENDCo
The ideal candidate will:
- Be able to support the Christian ethos of our school
- Have a calm and nurturing attitude
- Be able to facilitate children's learning in both 1:1 and small groups
- Be willing to work directly with children with special educational needs
- Be able to share information and have professional communication with the class teacher.
- Have experience of working in a similar position in schools (or be willing to undertake training and further study.)
