Little to no experience? Do not panic! As SupportED recruitment is run by teachers, we can offer experienced mentors, who will guide you through the process and offer free online courses to help prepare you for school life. All we ask of you is to be kind, approachable and have a hunger to learn new skills.

What your role could include:

• General Teaching Assistant (Class teacher support)
• 1:1 Teaching Assistant with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
• 1:1 Teaching Assistant with behavioural support
• Providing social and emotional support
• Monitoring pupil progress
• Generating resources

Requirements:

To be considered for the role of introductory Teaching Assistant role you will need:

• Two professional references (from previous employers)
• A willingness to apply for an Enhanced DBS
• To complete our safeguarding training
