Contract Type: Temporary, Term Time Only
Working Hours: 3 x 35hrs x 39 weeks attached to individual pupil funding initially for up to 3 terms with a possibility of being extended,
Number of Positions: 3
Qualifications Required: English and Maths to NQF Level 2, or equivalent
Applicant Requirements: Completion of TA Induction Programme
Salary range £21,189 - £21,968 (pro rata £18,226 - £18,897)
We are seeking to appoint Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs including ASC.
The Birches School is an outstanding school which caters for primary aged children with a range of special educational needs.

About the Candidate
We are looking to appoint enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistant's to work alongside a class teacher, as part of a class team, to support the learning of small class groups.
Knowledge and understanding of learning difficulties, ASC and learning methodologies associated with best practice would be an advantage.
We are looking for a positive, flexible, team player who wants to make a difference.
