SEND Teaching Assistant!
Location: Plymouth and Surrounding Areas
Job Type: Full Time/Part Time
Salary: £76 - £90 per day (depending on experience)
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team in Plymouth. This role is ideal for individuals who have a passion for inclusive education and the drive to make a positive difference in the lives of students with special educational needs.
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide dedicated support to students with special educational needs and disabilities, ensuring their access to a personalized and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt classroom activities to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere, promoting the social and emotional development of students.
- Assist in the assessment of students' progress and contribute to the development of strategies to enhance their learning experience.
- Work closely with the school to support holistic development and address individual needs.
The Suitable Candidate will have:
- Previous experience working with students with special educational needs and disabilities is highly desirable.
- Relevant qualifications in education or special education are advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for fostering an inclusive learning environment.
- Ability to adapt to the diverse needs of students and contribute to a positive and supportive school community.
