Specialist Teaching Assistant ‘The Bridge’
Since September 2021, ‘The Bridge’ has been a provision for students in Year 7, 8 and 9 where team of staff provide learning and behavioural support for students on a range of personalised timetables.
We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support the development and progress of students at The Bridge. Assist with planning, review and delivery of the curriculum and support with the learning and SEMH development of students under the remit of The Bridge.
Reporting to the SENCo the TA will use a range of strategies to support the development and progress of students with a variety of Special Educational Needs.
The successful candidate will have a proven ability to relate well to both children and adults, be able to work constructively as part of a team and have a goal driven approach to solving problems.
32.5 hours per week, typically policy based on 8.00am – 3.10pm Monday-Friday, term time plus 5 staff learning days; 39 weeks per annum.
Salary at Band G (Points 11-17) is within the range £25,979 to £28,770, starting point depending on experience and qualifications.
Actual salary for hours and weeks worked is calculated as £19,769 to £21,893 subject to any continuous service.
