If you answered yes, we would love you to join our team of existing Teaching Assistants at LTS Group.

You will be working to support students with SEND on a 1:1 basis both in and out of the classroom setting. The position is FULL TIME (Monday – Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm). Part time is not an option on this occasion.

The role is a full time temporary position with the possibility of a full time contract after proven performance. You must be available from 8.30am until 3.30pm Monday to Friday during term time.

• Be on hand to support you throughout your assignment
• Offer in-house training and guidance specific to the child you are working with
• Pay an excellent rate of pay within the sector

The Role

• You will support the child on a 1:1 basis both in and out of the classroom setting.
• Assist with all work set and help in areas of specific weakness
• Develop appropriate resources to motivate and encourage
• Provide continuous positive reinforcement and praise
• Understand and attend to the the pupil's needs and assist in developing strategies to manage these
• Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and parents to ensure the pupil progresses in their learning
• You may be expected to administer personal care.

Key Skills Required

• Evidence of working with children with SEND
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to form positive relationships with children and adults
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable in order to meet the needs of the child
• Have a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the child's welfare
