TeacherActive are looking for a Teaching Assistant / TA with Personal Care and Manual Handling experience in Mansfield to have the opportunity to work in a developing specialist SEND School with pupils aged 3-18.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant / TA to support the development and day to day care of MLD and PMLD pupils aged 3 to 18. The right Personal Care Assistant will have a sunny, welcoming and warm personality with the ability to connect with the pupils and build good relationships with staff.

The ideal Teaching Assistant should have the following:

• A minimum of 6 months experience in an educational establishment or experience working with SEND pupils.
• A calm, patient and caring persona
• Experience with Personal Care and Manual Handling
• Good communication skills
• A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
• Experience in working with supporting students in their education on a 1:1
