We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our team of Teaching Assistants.
The role will be largely based in the classroom working across different classes in Key Stage 2 and will involve implementing work programmes for individuals/groups and assisting in planning and the preparation of resources. The role will also involve providing cover for whole classes under a system of supervision for up to 30% of employed time throughout the school year.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a good standard of education;
- Have experience of supporting children in a classroom environment, including those with special educational needs in key stage 2 (Experience of working in year 6 is highly desirable);
- Have excellent knowledge of positive behaviour strategies;
- Be able to work within a team;
- Have understanding of the issues surrounding the safeguarding of children and commitment to child welfare and safety;
