- Ignite creativity by assisting in the planning and preparation of lessons, innovating strategies, and crafting captivating learning resources.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to develop and implement effective teaching strategies that adapts to the needs and abilities of all pupils.
- Providing one-to-one individualised support, building genuine relationships in a nurturing learning environment.
- Supporting to manage classroom behaviour and create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Hold a recognized HLTA qualification or equivalent.
- 3. SEN Teaching Assistant (Hemel Hempstead)
- Possess prior experience or a genuine interest and passion in working with individuals who have special needs.
- Hold a background in fields such as education, caregiving, psychology, or professions involving supporting and guiding individuals with compassion and empathy, as these skills are highly transferable.
- Exhibit patience and the ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations while comprehending children's responses.
- Demonstrate adaptability and a willingness to embrace new experiences.
- Showcase exceptional verbal communication abilities, enabling the establishment of strong connections with students and enhancing their involvement.

Desirable requirements
ü Prior experience working with children, especially those with special educational needs, can be valuable.
ü However, experience in a classroom setting, whether as a teaching assistant or in a related profession working with young pupils such as: Sport Coaching, care worker roles is desirable.
ü Patience and empathy are key qualities for supporting children with special educational needs, as it often requires understanding and addressing their unique challenges.
ü Understanding behaviour management techniques and strategies is essential to assist students with challenging behaviours.
ü A strong desire and passion for supporting teachers and commitment towards the welfare and development of young pupils. This is achieved by creating a safe, inclusive learning environment where all pupils are made to feel valued despite their backgrounds or learning abilities.
