Position: Team Assistant (Front House Receptionist)

Key Responsibilities:
· Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, patients, and staff, providing a warm and professional welcome at the front house reception in Reading.
· Answer and redirect phone calls, taking messages when necessary and ensuring accurate communication.
· Maintain a tidy and organised reception area, ensuring a pleasant experience for all.
· Provide administrative support to various teams, including managing calendars, arranging meetings, and assisting with general office tasks.
· Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and efficient service delivery.
· Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages, ensuring proper distribution and record-keeping.
· Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels.
· Strong customer service orientation, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
· Proficiency in using computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite and email applications.
· Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to multi task and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
· Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and administrative tasks.
· Previous experience in receptionist or customer service roles is desirable.
Previous NHS experience is desirable.
