Team Leader - Children's Residential

Excel Recruitment is currently recruiting for Team Leader - Children's Residential on a permanent full-time basis, based in Holywood with a salary of £31,688 - £40,315 per year and staff benefits.

This role will be based in our client's Children's Residential service, and this is a fantastic opportunity for a Qualified Social Worker or Nurse to join an established and high performing team.

Responsibilities:

With a full copy of the Job Duties and Person Spec available on request, you will:

• Have responsibility for the direct line management of a team, also deputising for the day-to-day running of the house in the absence of the Registered Manager/Deputy Manager, ensuring that child residents who display complex needs, challenging behaviours and learning disabilities, can pursue a lifestyle that meets their emotional, daily, spiritual and daily needs.

Requirements:

• Social Work or Nursing Degree along with associated NISCC or NMC registration.
• 1-year minimum experience working with challenging behaviours, complex needs, and personal care.
• 1-year minimum experience working with learning disabilities/autism.
• Strong line management experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate a team.
• Organised and able to time manage own workload.
• Experience in planning and implementing individual support packages.
• Key working experience and service provision.
