Are you a self-motivated, innovative team player, who is solution focused and passionate about making a difference? Do you have an excellent track record of retaining and delivering excellent operational services? If so, our client wants to hear from you.

Our client transforms lives by providing practical, emotional and financial support to those who are experiencing poverty, disadvantage and social isolation.

About Our Client’s Service

Our client’s Mental Health service is a collaborative approach to providing Mental Health and wellbeing support from late afternoon into the evening. It provides a safe space for people who are experiencing mental distress or who feel that they are going through a personal crisis. Our client’s service staff will offer low level calming interventions and one to one support to identify the cause of the emotional distress and to put in place a plan including signposting and referring on to other organisations and services.

Your impact

Collaborating with health professionals and promoting co-production with people who access our client’s service, you will provide 1:1 personalised support to individuals, staff and volunteers and identify wider issues that impact health and wellbeing. You will address individuals’ unique needs by designing bespoke wellbeing plans, referring to internal and external agencies where appropriate to ensure they can holistically meet needs, helping individuals make positive, long-lasting lifestyle changes and play a pivotal role in diversifying and personalising care in local communities.

Your skills

Our client is looking for someone with knowledge and understanding of Mental Health conditions and their impact on daily living, with a strong track-record of working with individuals and their families to deliver positive outcomes. You will provide leadership to a small team of Support, Time and Recovery workers and demonstrate a commitment to a one team approach. You will have demonstrable experience of supporting staff or volunteers in their role and aptitude for managing professional relationships.

You will have a strong track record in service delivery and a focus on quality, performance, safeguarding and management controls. With a client-facing approach, you will be passionate about engaging our client’s service users in all aspects of their work including co-production. Our client wants to hire a ‘can-do’ and energetic leader who will build and sustain positive working relationships with key commissioners and future funders, while developing partnerships that will continue to evolve and effectively meet the needs of everyone the service supports.

Our client is committed to Equality, Diversity & Inclusion in all that they do and welcome applications from all sections of the community. Our client particularly welcomes applications from Black, Asian and minority ethnic candidates, LGBTQIA+ candidates and candidates with disabilities because they are committed to increasing the representation of these groups. Our client knows that greater diversity will lead to even greater results and strive for their workforce to be truly representative of the diverse communities they support. Our client offers a guaranteed interview scheme for disabled applicants and will reimburse your travel cost if you attend an interview.

What will our client offer you?

They’ll offer you a generous pension scheme and leave entitlements, eye care vouchers, a cycle to work scheme and other great benefits. All roles are open to a discussion about possible flexible working options, subject to business needs, and all new starters will have the right to make a flexible working request from day one of employment. Our client have an excellent wellbeing offer and they will invest in your professional development with on-going quality training and career development opportunities. You’ll join an established, supportive and high-performing service and have the opportunity to thrive in an innovative organisation that values your opinion, encourages learning and has the needs of children at its core.

Our client is forward looking, ambitious and committed to continuous improvement. Our client is a people focused, can-do organisation, which strives for excellence in all that they do and operates with mutual respect. If you share these values and behaviours and have the necessary skills then our client looks forward to hearing from you.
