Team Leader - £12.31 per hour
Working Hours: Full time available - flexibility needed - 36 per week hour contracts.
Team Leader - Supported LivingAre you ready for the next step in your career? Join our Support Living Service in Aberfan, Merthyr Tydfil which supports up to 27 adults with mental health needs to live happy and fulfilling lives. This role reports directly to the Service Manager and you will work in partnership with the other Team Leader,Key Responsibilities:Lead and work with a team of support workers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive working environment.Oversee the day-to-day operations of supported living for 27 individuals, ensuring high standards and quality of care.Promote team ethics and inclusive working practices to create a positive and supportive atmosphere.Plan and organise various activities to enhance the well-being of the tenantsProvide leadership and direction in medication management, ensuring compliance with protocols.Manage rostering efficiently to optimise team performance and maintain smooth operations.Demonstrate excellent leadership skills by supporting and developing your team through supervision and appraisals.Utilise strong IT skills for electronic care planning and documentation.Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams (MDT) and work closely with community partners.Coach and mentor team members to foster personal and professional growth.Fulfill on-call duties to ensure continuous support and crisis management when required.
Qualifications and Experience:Proven experience in a Team Leader/Supervisor role within supported living or a similar setting.Excellent knowledge of electronic care planning systems.Ability to work collaboratively with various professionals and MDTs.Demonstrate coaching and mentoring skills.Good understanding of mental health support and inclusive practices.
