An exciting opportunity has arisen to be a Team Leader in our Recycling team. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team across waste collections and household waste recycling centres.
As a self-starter with well developed leadership skills and relevant qualifications you will have significant experience across a range of waste collection and recycling operational activities. With excellent customer communication and project management skills you will deliver great customer service to a high standard of quality.
You will be IT literate and experienced in using Microsoft software packages and able to rapidly adapt to service specific software applications and make or lead suggestions for improvements.
A full current UK driving licence is required and ability to work outdoors in various locations and terrain.

Please note that it is Midlothian Councils policy that successful applicants will be appointed to the first point on the salary scale.
Based on you working 36 hours over 52 weeks per year the minimum actual salary for this position is £36,311.02 per annum.
Requirements
Compliance with the mandatory Cabinet Office PSN (Public Sector Network) Code of Connection requires the Council to meet a baseline personal security standard.
