Team Leader - Supported Living

I am working with a Supporting Living client that is looking for a Team Leader based in Exeter.

This role can be offered is being offered as a Temp to Perm position or could be straight Perm for the right candidate 

The role:

• Offering and ensuring that the Highest standard of care is provided for residents
• Making sure that all service users are supported appropriately at all times.
• Ensure that the service is a safe, secure and happy home for everyone.
• Communicating with parents/carers, Healthcare professionals and Local Authorities when needed.
• Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed correctly and in time.
• Oversee that handovers are undertaken effectively.
• Ensuring residents are undertaking their activities and attending appointments that are required.
• Responsible for the administering of medication and recording appropriately.
• Ensuring that all revevant paperwork for each shift is captured and logged appropriately.
• Responsible for ensuring that all incidents/accidents are managed and logged appropriately.
• Ensuring that service users are provided with nutritious meals.
• Undertake personal support for residents as necessary.
• Reviewing the staffing needs and completing effectively
• Be the first point of contact for all staff issues.

What my client is looking for:

• Ideally hold or be willing to take NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social care
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Expereince in working with and supporting adults with Learning difficulties
