Reed Brighton is excited to be partnering with one of the UK's largest Private Healthcare Teleradiology companies based in Sussex who are seeking a Team Leader to join their ever-growing team. This is a full-time role of 32 hours a week, and you will be working remotely due to the shift patterns that the industry requires.
An example of shifts can be found below, they are on a rotation basis as will include some weekends:
00.45am - 08.45am / 16.45pm - 00.45am / 18.00pm - 02.00am
As am Leader, you will be responsible for managing the Admin Team and acting as the primary link between staff and management. You will be responsible for ensuring the team are productive, efficient, and supported through training, mentoring and managing individual performance. You will motivate and inspire the team to create an environment that promotes positive communication and contributes to the growth of the company.
Key responsibilities:
• Deputy Rota management of the team
• Actively assessing team members skillsets and deliver Coaching and support to the team to enhance their capabilities
• Managing attendance/sickness and absence cover in accordance with HR procedures
• Problem solving for the team, which can cover - Call backs not answering - Allocation/AA issues that may arise and portal/technical issues that need escalating
• MS Shift Chat support
• Maintaining live dashboards and portals such as Tableau and NH Portal
• Pulling data from dashboards to feedback to relevant teams
• Overall shift management of the internal portal
• Escalating issues to line manager when applicable
• Generating EOSR reports daily to be sent out to wider business
• Hand over any issues to other Team Leaders who will be working
• Work closely with the technical team to resolve reporting workflow issues
• Assist team members when needed
• To diffuse and, when required, escalate client complaints through appropriate channels
Person specification:
Ideally the person will have the following experience, skills and strengths:
Essential Skills:
• Ideally a minimum of a year Team leader experience
• Ability to motivate, inspire and influence a team
• Proficient in IT with good user knowledge of MS systems and MS office suite
• Ability to learn new IT systems quickly
• Ability to coach and mentor new starters and existing team members
• Experience in forecasting and rota planning
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Motivating team to achieve organisational goals
• Evidence of working within a fast-paced environment
Desirable Skills:
• Experience in managing a team including planning, organising, and coordinating of resources
• Working within a healthcare industry
• Previous night work experience
• Confidence in resolving issues in a timely manner
• Understand and embrace the need for continual improvement
