Form of workNonstop Care is working with a local authority that is looking for an experienced Team Manager to join their Duty and Assessment Team in the East Midlands.
As a Team Manager, this role will allow you to build effective relationships with your team and create a positive work environment, increasing job satisfaction for both you and social workers you work with.

Your Responsibilities:
- To manage the overall decision making, planning and delivery of services to service users and their families.
- To manage the service and a team of staff within the legislative and procedural framework of the City Council
- To manage the allocated budget of the service and team for which the Manager is responsible.
- To manage the development of strategic policy and procedures within the Departmental Business planning processes.
- To manage Children's Social Care within a Performance Management Framework that supports the priorities of the Service, Department and Council
Requirements:
- Hold a professional Social Work qualification and registration. (SWE)
- Post-qualified experience, demonstrate experience in a Team Manager role.
- Strong understanding of Assessments and/or Child Protection
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience of coaching/mentoring/co-working/supervision/practice teaching.
- Must drive and have access to own vehicle.
- Clear, Enhanced DBS
