Fostering Regional Recruitment and Retention Hub -Transforming Young Lives
Lead our innovative virtual fostering Recruitment and Retention Hub! This remote role includes occasional travel within the Southwest Region, with flexibility for evening and weekend work.
Join the new Southwest Regional Fostering Hub led by Wiltshire and Cornwall County Councils. This hub streamlines foster care recruitment across the region, bringing local authorities together to increase foster carer numbers and improve the lives and outcomes of children in care across the region.
The key features of the Hub are to:
- Enhance the journey from enquiry to application.
- Provide a streamlined journey to allocation to a local authority application, and approval.
- Amplify enquiries and establish an evidence base for impactful marketing strategies.
- Introduce a regional approach to support local authority fostering recruitment.
- Co-produce the design ensuring a good user journey through the system.
We seek a candidate with exceptional interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with diverse partners and stakeholders. Ideal candidates will bring experience in fostering recruitment or related fields, along with a social work qualification and over 3 years of registration.
