Tech Lead - C# .Net Azure & Associated toolsets
Key responsibilities include setting and leading the adoption of software development standards, participating in governance processes like architecture review, evaluating new technologies, managing development plans and budget estimates, and fixing application defects.
Stakeholders include vendors and technology suppliers. Internally they work with developers, technical delivery analysts, solution architects, infrastructure architects & test analysts.
Skills required:
At least one of the following four general or specialist skills:
1. Expert in recent version of at least one development language such as C#, Java, JavaScript, SQL, and Power Shell
2. Expert in industry standard development methodologies and tools
3. Expert in industry standard content management tools and practices
4. Expert in analysing and optimising database and application performance.
- Structured Software Engineering principles
- Proven knowledge "hands-on" experience in large IT systems with complex bespoke applications
- An expert developer in OOP C# and Associated toolsets, cloud implementations & systems integrations
- Ability to produce appropriately accurate and precise estimates for development tasks.
- Detailed knowledge of analysing complex systems, drawing conclusions and producing solutions and decisions
- Broad knowledge and understanding of relevant industry standards, such as security, and PCI DSS
- Expertise in C#, Java etc.
- Strong understanding of content management tools
- Ability to interpret project requirements into working solutions
- Experience developing complex applications
- Azure - API Manager, AD, Functions, Service Bus, SQL Server, CosmosDB, Storage, DevOps, Bicep & App Insights
You will be accountable for the E2E solutions delivery of bespoke Software systems which include creating functional specifications, comprehensive testing of applications & 2nd/3rd line support; Architecture Review meetings & Agile Delivery Plan creation.
This will at first be a 12m contract + extensions, working on a hybrid basis in London - Starting in early April
Pay is circa £110,000 - £125,000 for the initial contract term - Please enquire with any questions.
