Technical Architect / E-Commerce

Your new company
My client is a well established, global organisation who is looking for an experienced Technical Architect to join their team on a contract basis.
Your new role

• Collate, Analyze and Document Requirements and Processes from business and other stakeholders, including preparation of functional specifications, test cases and training materials.
• Lead Technical discussions on architectural design and implementation of these requirements with the technical teams, creating the necessary technical documentation
• Design and document the backend functions and integrations (REST or SOAP) 3rd party applications
• Review and advise on the non functional requirements, especially around security, privacy as well performance.
• Communicate and assist the technical team to deliver specifications.
• Investigate, and collaborate with the technical team to support and close any quality issues raised.
• Provide status reports on technical issues, project timelines and UAT/Cutover activities.
  Coordinate with relevant stakeholders, including business users, delivery teams, vendors, security, and architects
  

What you'll need to succeed
The candidate will ideally be an experienced E-commerce Professional to architect, design and deliver an E-commerce solutions. The role would require experience E-commerce business flows and customer journey, as well as Technical Experience in one of the leading E-commerce solutions such as SAP Commerce or any other Enterprise level D2C Applications

• 8 - 10 years' experience E-commerce application design and implementation with proficient in customer flows such as catalog, product, inventory, cart, checkout, and order flows
• Architectural and preferably hands on experience in one or more E-Commerce technologies such as SAP or SalesForce Commerce
• Experience in designing and implementing highly integrated applications, keen attention to dependencies, risks, and best practices
• Experience in representing the teams in security and performance related discussions, advising on best practices
• Proven expertise in one or more Technological domains such as Java, React, Node JS,, NoSQL and/or Relational Databases (MongoDB, PostreSQL), Cloud Architectures (AWS, Azure), API Integrations (REST)
• Experience in all phases of Software Development LifeCycle, starting from requirement gathering until the post production support.
• Experience in leading the discussions with business to understand and shape requirements, recommend solution and best practices.
